The new plan for the development of the southern area of Sofia has been a good opportunity to revitalize the city and create a new focus of attention. The proposal divides the zone in two areas organized along a linear park parallel to the river. The northern area has a mixed use: residential, commercial, office and administrative. The southern area is completely dedicated to residential use. Capitalizing on the topography of the site, the city views the shopping centre like a rising volume. The facade facing the business area is on one level and connects to a public plaza where business and shopping share daily life. Beside the linear park there are seven high-end residential towers. On the other side of the river there is a low-rise residential area set among generous gardens.
