A Corner Full of Ideas

As a distinguished corner accent, The Benjamin closes off an old industrial area, the Gebauer Höfe. Located directly on the Spree, the property presented a formidable challenge with its unusual geometry. Using the surrounding, classical industrial architecture of the designated historical ensemble as an aesthetic reference, BFA innovatively created a modern interpretation of what had already been established. Where heavy machinery was produced in the 19th century, ideas and thoughts are created today. A contemporary open-plan work area that allows a complete panoramic view dominates the interior. Located directly on the water’s edge, this corner building offers a beautiful view, which is also appreciated by pedestrians and cyclists alike.
