FABULOUS URBAN

Dadaab has been “temporary“ for 33 years. Three generations born there. 430,000 people living in what’s legally called a camp but functions as a city—just without any of the rights, infrastructure, or opportunities cities normally provide. So we’ve spent months wrestling with the question: What would it take to transform this into the city it already is, but isn’t allowed to be?
