“One day you’re in, the next day you’re out”
After 15 years of vertical logic, the need for horizontal compaction seems necessary.

If “the artist is absent” (Martin Margiela, 2015), we need less architecture and more museum.
Essentially, this proposal is classic-conservative. Architecture as a mere formalistic discipline fades to become a medium between the urban and museal experience. Architecture itself is no longer protagonist. The collection, the Academy and the city can reclaim the space they deserve.
