KR6 House
Lake Zurich, Zwitserland
KR6 House is a discreet residential building on a hillside that captivates with its clear geometry, precise choice of materials, and sensitive spatial structure. Located in a densely populated residential area, the building creates a quiet refuge that is inward-looking while also allowing for openness.
Studioforma designed the house as a finely tuned composition of staggered structures and carefully placed openings. The alternation between transparency and solidity creates an exciting dynamic – without closing itself off from its surroundings.
Inside, exposed concrete, oak wood, and natural stone create a warm, minimalist atmosphere. The lighting and room proportions were designed with great care to create functional clarity and spatial tranquility.
KR6 House exemplifies Studioforma's approach: architecture as a precise response to place, scale, and life—discreet, focused, and enduring.
