Primary School Els Vinyals

The school locates itself in a plot situated in “Passeig de l’Església”, between the left side of “Merdans” torrent and the right side of “Sot dels Nostris” torrent in Lliça de Vall. South of the paseo, the environment is still unconsolidated, but highlights the presence of the church, located at a higher level and have visuals from the plot of the project. The proposal places de group of volums, that designs the building, in a “U” shape. This way la main façade it’s turned to “Passeig de L’Església” and the playground opens itself to south and to the landscape. The building develops in two levels in its main body, wish its turned to paseo, and in just one level in the transversal bodies. With this configuration we were able to provide the majority of the building where existing land filling is less.
