Two narrow and long twin houses featuring natural ventilation systems to cool the hot summer air, upper-ventilating by three areas: the entrance courtyard, the staircase and the bioclimatic porch designed for a summer house on the island of Menorca. Subjected to a very warm Mediterranean climate and extreme temperatures in the summer, the porch of the main courtyard in this type of housing is the most used space in the summer. Protected from the sun and rain, conventional porches are very hot spaces with little ventilation.
