Glòries square – Urban Canopy
The light of a contemporary urban park like Glòries, revealed the relationship between nature and technology. An urban park is a leisure place but also has contact with nature, this is understood as an opportunity for citizens in their daily lives surrounded by spaces built. The urban context requires a certain comfort, safety, services, etc. This situation often presents contradictions, particularly in the biodiversity cores, which should be protected from them artificial light. It is proposed a challenge, get a balance which includes both areas with light and dark spaces, being that there isn't nature without darkness.
